Abstract: National Energy Policy sets out the national policies and strategies for the energy sector that are aligned to the new Constitution and are in tandem with Kenya Vision 2030. The overall objective of the energy policy is to ensure affordable, competitive, sustainable and reliable supply of energy to meet national and county development needs at least cost, while protecting and conserving the environment.
