Abstract: The following report presents the findings of the baseline study and market assessment of Productive Use of Energy technologies in the horticultural and dairy value chains of Ethiopia,Kenya and Uganda. This section sets out the thematic background,introduces the Sustainable Energy for Smallholder Farmers (SEFFA) project for which this study wascarried out,and outlines the objectives and the scope of the research.
