Abstract: The Technical Report focuses on a rapid assessment of natural resources degradation around Kakuma refugee camp in northern Kenya, primarily concerning forest resources. The assessment aimed to identify interventions to mitigate environmental pressures and enhance energy access for both refugee and host communities. Key findings and recommendations from the assessment are highlighted to guide World Bank support and inform strategic actions for addressing the impacts of refugee populations on natural resources in Kenya.
