Abstract: This paper investigates the environmental impacts of textile waste in Kenya. It examines the lifecycle of imported second-hand clothing and its disposal. The study highlights pollution, informal dumping, and regulatory gaps. It also explores the role of trade policy and consumer behavior. Recommendations include extended producer responsibility and circular economy incentives.
