Abstract: This progress report documents the strategic support provided by PARIS21 to national statistical systems (NSS) throughout 2024. Emphasis is placed on improving data production, financing, and uptake?especially around gender statistics and climate change. Kenya is featured as both a beneficiary and collaborator: PARIS21 supported the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) in the development of its National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (NSDS), climate change data ecosystem mapping, and leadership training for statistical officers. The report also highlights the integration of gender and climate indicators in policy design, the development of data-driven Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs), and participatory tools to strengthen statistical planning and citizen engagement.
