Abstract: This issue of Roundup Voices chronicles PACJA?s climate justice efforts across Africa from April to June 2024. It highlights multilateral partnerships, grassroots action, and strategic engagement with global processes including preparations for COP29 and the 69th UN Civil Society Conference. Feature stories include: reforestation and agroforestry initiatives in West Pokot through community-based restoration and youth engagement; the role of green hydrogen in Kenya?s energy transition; the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice which convened youth from 87 countries; and civil society?s calls to prioritize adaptation finance and global solidarity at SB60. The newsletter also documents PACJA?s partnerships with education institutions and youth organizations to enhance climate literacy and civic engagement. It amplifies African civil society voices on tracking NDCs, climate-induced migration, health and climate linkages, and sustainable urban planning.
