Abstract: This report documents the fifth judicial training on climate justice held in Uganda to strengthen courts' capacity to adjudicate climate cases. Attended by judges, lawyers, and civil society, the training covered international law, carbon trading, gender dimensions, and climate litigation in East Africa. It highlighted the role of inclusive legal frameworks and stakeholder collaboration. Sessions emphasized climate migration, environmental rights, and institutional readiness to handle climate disputes through specialized courts and enforceable mechanisms.
