Abstract: This report analyzes gender mainstreaming outcomes and institutional innovations across ten countries under the NDC Support Programme (2017?2025), with a spotlight on governance, planning, and policy reform in climate action. It explores how gender was integrated into Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), sectoral strategies, and financial systems. The Kenya case study documents key achievements, including the involvement of the Ministry of Gender in climate governance, gender-disaggregated climate data development, and incorporation of gender-responsive indicators into Kenya's updated NDC. Lessons from Kenya and other countries highlight the importance of institutional coordination, capacity development, and gender-inclusive policy alignment for climate resilience.
